8″ x 12″ – I sketched this Cuban man while I was in Cuba. They stopped importing cars since 1950 so all the cars have a retro look – Old De Soto’s and Cadillac’s are painted in bright colors and the drivers look as if they came with the cars! The Old Worldly feel of Cuba must have attracted the likes of Ernest Hemmingway and inspired them to write. I signed my name on the wall in the famous ‘Pub in the Middle’ where Hemmingway used to sip his Mojito’s in Havana.
